I am Markku Ripatti - a passionate advocate for community development, a keen sports enthusiast and a lifelong admirer of culture and innovation. After decades of absence, I am thrilled to call Juva home again. For me, Juva is not just a church village-it's the best place to live.

I'm a teacher of assistive technology by profession and half of my working life has been spent in Africa and South East Asia, so it's nice to be back in my home region in a stable but vibrant environment.

My municipality

Juva is a vibrant community located in the heart of Finland. Its charming historic church, breathtaking nature and excellent sports facilities offer an ideal combination of tradition and modern lifestyle. Its central location ensures excellent connections throughout the country, making it a hub for both leisure and business opportunities.

My hobbies range from cycling and rowing to exploring a variety of sports, as well as immersing myself in cultural pursuits and the latest technological advances. I am committed to promoting the growth of Juva and see a future where this beautiful parish attracts new families and innovative businesses, creating a dynamic environment for all.

I am Markku Ripatti

I'm originally from Siikakoski and after high school I left Juva to study and work. In Finland I have worked in Helsinki, Kuopio and Oulu, in Africa in Zambia and in South East Asia in several countries. Now it's good to be back in Juva.
